Tower of Sumner The Tower is where the game begins. The fifteen crystals you need for the first world are cobbled close. You can grab them all and then explore for a while. Sumner, the skinny old dude in the gold mu-mu is your Dungeon Master. You can ask him about general hints, bosses, legendary weapons, and runestones.
Gauntlet: Dark Legacy is the sixth installment created by Midway Games in the Gauntlet series. It is a remake to Gauntlet: Legends. Dark Legacy greatly expanded the world of Legends. It doubled the amount of characters and Realms, and added a slew of new monsters and items.
As you Game Master though, I can provide better hints but I get to insult you.To Sumner's south, a ring of stones surround a portal. This is the entrance to the Underworld. Don't worry, you can't go in yet. To the Underworld's left is the West Wing. Martin Sheen isn't in, but the entrances to three worlds (Castle, Sky, Forest) are. To the Underworld's right is the East Wing with the three other worlds (Desert, Ice, Dreamlands).
You can find the stairs to go down one more floor to the base of the tower. There you will find the portal leading to the Battlefield.Back up top, to Sumner's north, is the entrance of the Desecrated Temple. Luckily for you, you can't go in there either (you'll get slaughtered at Level 1, trust me). To the Temple's right is the Mountain world. It used to be the first world you go to, but what the hey. To the left is the Cursed Province. That's the first place you should go to.Notice only one stage in a world is initially opened.
That's because you must successfully exit from an early stage to progress to a later one. Go into the Poisoned Fields now and I'll be there shortly to help you. Well, not really help as much as beat you over the head with a stick if you make a mistake and get killed.Tower of SumnerOne last note: Don't ignore the movies. They clue you in on what to look for, or if there is a new monster generator you need to be aware of. Runestones are not clued by the movies, but I'll tell you what and when to look for 'em.
